It may look uncontested on the ballot, but Saturday's election has turned into one of the liveliest races in recent memory, with two candidates staging furious write-in campaigns to make it a four- way race for two seats on the Board of Selectmen. The polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Dunaway Center.
Current board chairman Charles Waite III and Planning Board member Donald Wunder are on the ballot. Current Selectman Jon Speers had taken out nomination papers and was on the ballot until he decided to withdraw after a contentious exchange at the Feb. 21 selectmen's meeting.See the full content of this document
