The Hall-Dale boys' basketball team would love to erase three minutes spanning the first and second periods of its Western Maine Class C quarterfinal against third-seeded Traip Academy on Monday.

The 11th-seeded Bulldogs otherwise played the Rangers quite evenly. But those three minutes were the difference as the Bulldogs were eliminated, 73-57. Hall-Dale closes its season at 10-10 while Traip, 17-1, meets No. 2 Winthrop in a semifinal Thursday night at the Augusta Civic Center.
