The local TV news ratings are in, and for the first time in a decade, WGME (Channel 13) has two top-rated newscasts.

WGME managers credit an aggressive focus on crime, breaking news and investigative stories. But managers at WCSH (Channel 6), which won most of the news program time slots, say WGME's late-night success was also helped greatly by the strong ratings of prime-time shows on CBS, its affiliate network.
