The University of Southern Maine will open a new, 1,150-space parking garage on Tuesday that is expected to decrease parking congestion on nearby residential streets and pave the way for new development on the Portland campus.
The $14 million garage on Bedford Street is part of the $25 million Joel and Linda Abromson Community Education Center. It will include a 20,000-square-foot classroom building and a 500-seat lecture hall that will be completed by the end of this year.See the full content of this document
