Sometimes limited resources can force officials to think creatively, and that's exactly what Cumberland County Sheriff Mark Dion is doing.
Dion received approval this week to test out a program that will help make more room for violent offenders in the Cumberland County Jail and hopefully decrease the recidivism rate among low-risk inmates. It also could delay the need for a jail expansion.See the full content of this document
