Chilling comments by the man arrested on charges of attempting to blow up a Detroit-bound airplane with 288 aboard on Christmas Day deserve the full attention of national and international security agencies.
Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, charged with the attempted bombing of Northwest Airlines Flight 253, reportedly told FBI agents he had been trained in al-Qaida camps in Yemen for his mission and was given 80 grams of an explosive to carry it out.
