Summary


The search for a Topsham teenager who has been missing for six days took on a greater sense of urgency Thursday when police investigators brought in a Maine Warden Service airplane to fly over the Androscoggin River. Working from the theory that Michael S. Nord attempted to walk from a party in downtown Brunswick to his home in Topsham, investigators concentrated their search on the surging river that divides the towns.

A spotter in the plane, which arrived Thursday afternoon, found nothing. The search was expected to resume this morning.
