Portland officials, a representative for landlord Joseph Soley and a tenants' attorney reached agreement late Tuesday on a plan they say satisfies all parties involved in the dispute over safety code violations in Soley's building at 10 Exchange St.
The arrangement ensures that alternate housing will be provided for three tenants who had not moved by Tuesday, that all businesses in the building will be allowed to continue operations, and that the upper two stories of the four-story building will be heated enough to keep pipes from freezing.See the full content of this document
