Mercy Hospital was named the official health care provider of the Maine Red Claws on Monday, and Dr. Peter Ameglio was named team physician. The Red Claws are a new team in the NBA Development League.
The two also unveiled the Best Shot For Youth Initiative, a program to raise funds to provide free sports physicals for children in grades 6 through 12 in York and Cumberland counties.
