A New York developer who once proposed a towering hotel on the city's waterfront has revised his plans and will meet with city officials to discuss an office building next week. John Cacoulidis is scheduled to talk with the Planning Board on Tuesday about his proposal for the 22-acre parcel between Bug Light Park and the municipal boat ramp. The 70,000- to 100,000-square-foot office building is expected to be part of a larger development that would eventually include an upscale marina, hotel and retail area, City Manager Jeffrey Jordan said.
"It is just the first phase of a multi-phase development," said John Mitchell, of Portland-based Mitchell & Associates, the firm designing the project for Cacoulidis.See the full content of this document
