A Portland police officer has been put on paid administrative leave after fatally shooting an armed man resisting arrest at the intersection of Forest and Pleasant avenues late Friday night.
Sgt. Robert Martin, a 20-year veteran of the Portland police, fired one shot at 26-year-old Richard Wayne Duncan, who police said struggled and drew a gun on officers as they tried to arrest him for possession and sale of drugs.See the full content of this document
