A Superior Court judge imposed a tough 37-year prison sentence Thursday on a man convicted of murdering his girlfriend days after he was released on bail and ordered to stay away from her. Justice Robert Crowley said Gregory Erskine did not appear to take responsibility for the death of Lisa Deprez last May, despite a tearful apology to her family in court Thursday.
