Area Schools Announce New Projects, Staff Changes
Biddeford High School students return to an ongoing $34 million renovation project, to be completed by August 2012, said Superintendent Sarah-Jane Poli. Crews will be working in some classrooms this fall before moving on to renovate the cafeteria and gym. Budget cuts eliminated some programs and 23 positions, so school libraries won't be staffed every day.
