The respites offered at the Milliken House are meant to harken back to a different era - when life was less hectic and time spent with an old friend, enjoying a pot of tea, was something to be savored. Owners David and Lisa Norburg, from the West Coast, have been restoring period houses since 1981 and knew they'd found a gem in the 1877 Victorian-era, Italianate-style home when they relocated to Maine several years ago.
