Former Portland Pirates coach Tim Army is returning to his college alma mater.
Providence College announced Friday morning it has hired Army as head coach of its men's hockey team. Reached by telephone later Friday, Army said he was offered the job Tuesday, and he decided to take the position rather than go to Hershey, Pa., as coach of the Washington Capitals' new affiliate in the American Hockey League.See the full content of this document
