Diane Roney, 57, had sued the national food chain in U.S. District Court for $83,000 in medical expenses, lost wages and additional damages after being hospitalized for 12 days in 2001 with severe abdominal pains. Her husband, Paul, sought money for loss of companionship and support from his wife.
