An open-door policy that gives military recruiters almost unlimited access to students in the hallways of Maine's largest school district may soon swing shut.
Next week, the Portland School Committee will consider a proposal limiting military and college recruiters to seven annual visits to city high schools. The policy also would create designated areas in each school where recruiting can take place.See the full content of this document
