Detectives with the Biddeford Police Department are continuing to investigate a suspected arson attempt on a lobster boat near Biddeford Pool on Monday.

Police received a call about 32;9:40 a.m. Monday from Randall Desmarais of Biddeford who reported that he had found a suspicious device on his lobster boat, moored off Biddeford Pool, according to JoAnne Fisk, Biddeford police spokeswoman.
