Summary


The Portland Museum of Art received 920 entries for its 2007 biennial and selected 98 works by 61 artists.

A panel of three jurors made the choices: Ellen Miller, founder of Miller Block Gallery in Boston; Johnnie Winona Ross, nationally recognized artist and former faculty member of the Maine College of Art; and Judith Stein, freelance curator, art critic, and author.
