Summary


Greg McConnell scored two goals as Bowdoin knocked off top- seeded Trinity 3-2 Saturday in the semifinals of the New England Small College Athletic Conference men's hockey tournament. James Gadon gave the fourth-seeded Polar Bears (17-5-3) a 1-0 lead at 8:57 of the first period. McConnell made it 2-0 with a backhander at 13:50 of the period.

After the Bantams (20-3-2) pulled within one on Cameron Finch's power-play goal midway through the second, McConnell knocked in the winner off a scramble with 2:03 to play in the period.
