Aaron Gavey knocked a rebound inside the right post 2:49 into overtime to lift Portland to a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Hershey in an AHL game at the Cumberland County Civic Center Friday night.

"Right place. Right time, and I was real happy to be that guy to knock it in, and we're happy with the two points," said Gavey, who brought 4,550 fans to their feet when he knocked the rebound of defenseman Aaron Rome's shot inside the right post for his 12th goal of the season.
