Two central Maine men were shot and killed in seperate incidents Sunday morning, and a 20-year-old suspect in the killings later shot himself in the head when confronted by police on a bus approaching Boston's South Station.

Stephen A. Marshall, a Canadian man who was staying with his father in Houlton, was taken around 7:30 p.m. Sunday to Boston Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition.
