Florida has them. So does Montana. And if the state of Maine can find the means or money, it's going to get more of them, too. But at least it now has one more, and it will open for free this month.

The 55-foot-high wildlife viewing platform recently acquired by the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife is at the doorstep of Scarborough Marsh. It is part of an acquisition at the marsh, but the crowds it will draw undoubtedly will seek it out.
