The Ossipee Mountaineers, with support from town selectmen, will head a large-scale cleanup effort in town from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
Trucks and trailers of all sizes are needed for the cleanup effort, as are volunteers willing to pick up trash in the woods. Permits will be issued for free access to the transfer station for cleanup volunteers by the Ossipee Mountaineers.
