Mahmud Faksh has long sought to help people better understand the Middle East. A political science professor at the University of Southern Maine, he has for years gone beyond the typical classroom to share his expertise.
This month, he'll be leading a Maine Humanities Council series at the Bridgton Public Library and the Harrison Village Library. The program, called "Behind the Headlines: An Introduction to the Middle East," begins today. The sessions alternate between Bridgton and Harrison.See the full content of this document
