The Democratic U.S. Senate primary between writer Jean Hay Bright and lawyer Eric Mehnert remained too close to call early today.
With 81 percent of precincts reporting statewide, Hay Bright and Mehnert each had 50 percent of the vote, though Hay Bright had a 322- vote lead with nearly 38,000 votes cast. Both camps said they would wait for complete returns today.See the full content of this document
