A Tale to Tug at the Heart ; Sarah Sherman Mcgrail Drew On Her Island Upbringing and Love of History to Pen the Story of `the Littlest Tugboat.'
So it figured her first children's book would have a good dose of history too. McGrail says she was inspired to write "The Littlest Tugboat" by her neighbor, Capt. Eliot Winslow, 96, who runs a fleet of tugboats.
