Some suggestions are listed below. Please mark your first choice with the numeral 1, your second with the numeral 2, and so on through the 10th most important news story. There's room at the bottom to write in stories not listed. Ballots can be mailed to Top Story Poll, Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram, P.O. Box 1460, Portland, ME 04104. Ballots can also be dropped off at our Welcome Center in the newspaper's lobby at 390 Congress St. in Portland. Readers may also vote online at MaineToday.com. All submissions must be received by Dec. 26. The results will run in the Insight section of the Maine Sunday Telegram on Dec. 31.
