The Maryland research lab that is facing criticism in Maine over a suspended brain-procurement program is halting its efforts to collect brains elsewhere in the country, its lawyer said Wednesday.
Lori Keenan, a lawyer at the Stanley Medical Research Institute, said the lab will stop acquiring brains after its contract with the San Diego County medical examiner's office is terminated on June 30.See the full content of this document
