The Friends of the Kotzschmar Organ offer free demonstrations of the Kotzschmar at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. July 11, as well as open console time for organ use. The demonstration will include a program of music designed to show off the versatility of the Kotzschmar Memorial Organ and some of its 6,862 pipes, followed by a tour through the inside of the universal windchest and pipe chamber of the 50-ton instrument.

The Kotzschmar is a pipe organ, built by Austin Organs. The tour provides an opportunity to ask questions and gain a new perspective on the Kotzschmar and how it works.
