A prosecutor plans to seek jail time for a former York County jail nurse who was convicted of stealing prescription painkillers she ordered for an inmate.

A York County Superior Court jury Thursday found Jill Cote, 32, of Waterboro, guilty of the felony offense of acquiring drugs by deception. Cote was an employee of a private contractor called Arch Medical that provides medical services at the jail in Alfred, York County Sheriff Philip Cote said.
