Hyde rode Richard Ortega's dominating performance to a 72-49 win against North Yarmouth Academy in a schoolboy basketball game Tuesday night. Ortega, a 6-foot-1, 240-pound forward, scored 27 points, grabbed 20 rebounds and had seven steals to lead the Phoenix to their convincing victory.
"He's a guy that really can't jump that high," Hyde Coach Tom Bragg said. "From last year to this year, he's improved a great deal in terms of foot movement and body positioning, (to) where he's now real effective inside."See the full content of this document
