A balanced University of Southern Maine men's basketball team pulled away from Husson midway through the second half in a 77-68 victory Saturday. Five players scored in double figures for the Huskies (2-2), who shot 49.1 percent from the floor. Jason Levecque scored 21, Mike Francoeur had 17, Bill Hardwick added 12 and Josh Daniels and Jesse McKinnell each chipped in with 10.
After Husson grabbed a 34-27 lead 45 seconds into the second half, the Huskies went on a 10-2 run over the next 1:30 to lead 37- 36.
