The Maine Humanities Council's 30th Anniversary Humanities Fest on Oct. 21 will include a program for families beginning at noon at the Franco-American Heritage Center at 46 Cedar St. The afternoon celebration will include Somali food, music and books; Native American story and song with Allen Sockabasin; and an appearance by children's book author, artist and performer Ashley Bryan.
