Summary
The Grand Beach Cafe is not necessarily the kind of place you would deliberately seek out for a fast, inexpensive breakfast or lunch, though its comfort-food menu has a lot to offer. That's because it sits in the middle of Old Orchard Beach, which at this time of year is a virtual ghost town. The cafe is associated with one of the few hotels that remain open, the Grand Beach Inn, and barely even looks like an eatery from the outside.
But locals are apparently starting to discover the little place, which has been open since May, as well as former customers of the cafe's owners, Sharlene and Shannon Taylor.
