Luke Jeton, an Acton Elementary School student, was the highest scoring fourth-grader in the state of Maine in the Reader's Digest Word Power Challenge.
The Word Power Challenge is a national competition that tests students in their ability to understand vocabulary words. Jeton, 10, competed with his peers in the classroom and at grade level competitions to become a grade level winner. The competition featured both written and oral contests.
