Portland will receive $400,000 in federal grants to improve port security, according to Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins.
The money will pay for new screening equipment for passenger terminals. Portland already has installed cameras and other security equipment at waterfront facilities using previous grants from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.See the full content of this document
