FairPoint Communications, Inc., announced Monday that it will need until the end of January to complete its takeover of Verizon's telephone system.
FairPoint officials downplayed the delay - the second since it acquired Verizon's 1.6 million telephone lines in March - saying it was not entirely unexpected given the complexities involved with the transfer.See the full content of this document
