Summary
The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston opened an exhibit last month focusing on Chinese court costume of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The exhibit features examples of jifu (known in the West as "dragon robe") and other kinds of imperial dress, costume accessories, portraits, furniture and textiles. "Draped in Dragons: Chinese Court Costume" is on exhibit at the museum in the newly renovated Loring Textile Gallery through May 2.
