Music classes for children up to age 6 and their parents will be held this winter, and free demonstration classes are set for 10:45 and 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Yoga on York, 250 York St.

The program will begin Jan. 12 and offers a creative and playful atmosphere for children to learn music skills. Classes will feature interaction with children and their parents as they learn singing, rhymes, rhythm patterns, movement, dance and instrument playing.
