A local man was in critical condition Saturday night at Maine Medical Center after his car crossed the center line on Broadway and collided with another car, police said.
Larry Tenan, 64, was headed west when he crossed over into the eastbound lane shortly before 9 p.m., Sgt. Todd Bernard said. His Camaro hit an Audi driven by Bethany Holmstrom, 18, of Portland, Bernard said. Holmstrom had only minor injuries, but Tenan sustained head injuries, Bernard said.
