Summary


Ferry service between Portland and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, would resume next June, running three days a week, under a proposal being negotiated by city officials and operators of The Cat.

The plan is expected to be discussed Monday at a Portland City Council workshop, said Larry Mead, an assistant city manager. If negotiations conclude, he said, a lease agreement for the International Marine Terminal could come before councilors at their Oct. 3 session.
