Fear can be a good thing when it causes you to duck a sniper's bullet, ABC news correspondent Dan B. Harris told Colby College's graduating seniors Sunday. Harris, who threw himself on the ground to escape sniper fire in the Tora Bora Mountains while covering the war in Afghanistan - and more recently covered John Kerry's presidential campaign, as well as the insurgency in Iraq - spoke at Colby's commencement exercises.
A 1993 Colby graduate, Harris told the 484 members of the Class of 2005 that fear can lead to careful preparation and smart decisions, but it should not stop them from reaching for the careers of their dreams.See the full content of this document
