For the past few years, says the director of the Portland Harbor Museum, the sounds of children have been missing.

To attract the school groups that have stopped visiting the South Portland museum, the staff has a new approach to its educational offerings. With a new educational compact disc called "The Age of Clipper Ships," Mark Thompson hopes to see an increase in the number of school groups who use the museum as a resource.
