At the final dress rehearsal for "The Dyer Emergency" May 20, members of the Helena H. Dyer School drama club crowded backstage, studying their scripts before going on. Sitting before the stage, Adam Stockman, an educational technician, quietly gave cues to actors who looked to him for help. It seemed like any other drama club rehearsal, except that it wasn't. It was the last rehearsal for the last production before Dyer closes for a year, and that changes everything.
