Camden Man Returning From Tsunami Aid Trip

Summary


Ray Williamson of Camden is scheduled to return this week from a month-long trip to southeast Asia, where he delivered 800 tons of supplies to tsunami victims.

Williamson, who provided relief supplies to residents of Nias and Simeulue - islands off the coast of northern Sumatra - was sponsored by his company, Maine Windjammer Cruises, and the community. He chartered a 900-ton cargo vessel, the Maruta Jaya, to make the deliveries.
