Bucksport High broke open a seesaw game with four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat Cape Elizabeth 8-6 and win the Class B state softball title Saturday afternoon at Coffin Field. Bucksport completed a perfect season at 20-0. Cape Elizabeth finished its most successful season ever at 17-3.

It was a worthy battle, with three lead changes and one tie. But the Golden Bucks erased a 5-4 deficit with four hits in the sixth.
