Mainers are better than most at playing in the snow. After all, we're the ones who built the world's tallest snowman back in 1999, in the town of Bethel.

Angus, King of the Mountain (named after former governor Angus King), stood 113 feet and 7 inches tall and was made of almost 5 million pounds of snow. He didn't melt until June.
