Based on headlines alone, there is a temptation to believe the war on terror - the global war on terror - had a terrible weekend. A car bomb in at a vacation resort area the Red Sea in Egypt killed 88 people Saturday. In Baghdad, Iraq, on Sunday, a suicide truck bomb near a police station killed at least 25.

Analysts have yet to determine if there as any link between the two, but the disparity of the two targets is perhaps more telling: Terrorists may strike anywhere, from vacation spots to security sites.
