One of the hardest things U. Agnes "Aggie" Bennett experienced as a volunteer foster grandparent was holding a baby who had a terminal illness.

Mrs. Bennett held the baby in a rocking chair, providing every measure of comfort, warmth and love that she could. She considered it one of the greatest gifts she was able to give, said Linda Angel, a manager with Peoples Regional Opportunity Program's foster grandparent program.
